California, Lower Lee Vining Campground  The campground has a Mammoth Lakes address but is actually closer to the small town of Lee Vining. 

Direction:

On Hwy 120 approximately two miles West of Hwy 395 take a left onto big bend campground road. Follow the road around to the campground.

Lower Lee Vining Campground is situated at 7,300 feet. 51 campsites are available. No drinking water. Pit toilets. 14 day stay limit. Each campsite is equipted with a bear locker for food storage.  Most spots are shaded. The campground is seasional and closes for the winter.  Some camp spots are located on Lee Vining Creek. The small town of Lee Vining is just two miles away where you will find fuel and a small market with ice.  Firewood is available in the campground from the camp host.  Some of the camp spots are large however, access can be tight.  Campbase recommends RV's smaller than 32 feet.
