Borrego Palm Canyon Campground  has tent, group, hike bike, and RV camp spots.  The campgrounds web site states that RV's up to 35 feet can be accommodated however, the RV spots are very large and should be able to accommodate RV's up to 45 feet. Pull through and Pull-A-Round camp spots are available.  The campground has full hookups, restrooms, showers, and a dump station.  The fee for using the dump station is $8.00.  Cellular service is excellent from this campground.  Camp roads and parking pads are all paved.  There are no shade spots in the campground.  It's one of the few campgrounds in the area with fire rings.

The campground is near the Anza Borrego Information Center and also just a mile from services in downtown Borrego Springs.  Downtown Borrego Springs has fuel, markets and restaurants.  It's near local Anza Borrego hiking trails.  There are snakes and scorpions in the area.

The campground is open year around with reservations recommended between October 1 and April 30.  Summer tempratures drive most campers out of the area in the summer months.  Reservations are available at the campgrounds web page provided above.

Local Recreation:

Road bicycling is excellent in the area around the campground and in Borrego Springs.  Borrego Springs is a bicycle friendly community.  Most roads in the area have bike lanes.

Anza Borrego State Park has extensive hiking trails and wildlife viewing in the park.  In the spring there are wild flowers.

Ocotillo Wells State Recreational Vehicle Area is just 15 from the campground.  The recreation area is popular for off-roading.

The Galleta Meadows area has an extensive collection of sculptures located along the highway.  Please see our photos tab for a few pictures.  The sculptures are located throughout the Borrego Springs area.
