California, Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Resort

Directions:

The resort is located at the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Montezuma Road in Borrego Springs.  From the traffic circle in downtown Anza Borrego, proceed west on Palm Canyon Drive for just over one mile.  The campground will be on the left side of the highway.

Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Resort is open all year with 163 RV camp spots.  Vintage trailers and Airstreem trailers are also available.  The Anza Borrego Desert State Park and Downtown Borrego Springs are just a short walk from the resort.  The resort has a camp store, restaurant, and saloon.  Located in the Anza Borrego Desert, winter is the best season for camping here.  Summer tempratures drive most RVers out of the area.  Resort roads are all paved with full hookups and pull through spots available.  Shade is limited in the campground however, about one third of the sites are under the shade of solar pannels.  These solar pannels are tall and large big rigs easily fit under them.  A large, clean laundry room is available to all campers.  Restrooms and showers are clean.  The resort has a motel and classic trailer rentals available making it perfect for those friends who don't have an RV.  Cellular service in the area is good for most providers.  The Campbase cell phone had two bars.  Texting was not good in the area.  There is a group area with three fire fings however, individual camp spots do not have fire rings.  

Fuel, restaurants and markets are all located in Borrego Springs, approximately one mile from the resort.
