Cold Creek Campground is located on Highway 89, approximately 5 miles south of Sierraville. It's also 20 miles north of Trukee on highway 89.

Cold Creek Campground is open from May through October. This is primarily a tenting campground however, small RV's can be accommodated. There are approximately 10 camp spots. Most camp spots are shaded by Jeffrey Pines. Cold Stream runs along the campground. Camp spots are not directly on the stream but do have stream access. Bears frequent the campground, store food properly. Drinking water can be found a short distance away at Cottonwood Creek Campground. There are no services near the campground, this is a remote area, bring everything you need with you. Campbase estimates RV's no larger than 25 feet.
