Description

California, Lower Little Truckee Campground, Tahoe National Forest, is located along the Little Truckee River.  Easy access from Highway-89.

Directions:

From Truckee, proceed 12 miles north on Highway 89.  The campground will be on the left side of the highway.

Lower Little Truckee Campground, Tahoe National Forest, is located at 6,200 feet.  The campground is seasonal being open from May through October with approximately 15 RV or tent camp spots.  It's located along Highway 89, there is some road noise.  Bears frequent the area, store your food properly.  The Little Truckee River passes the campground.  The River has Rainbow and Brown Trout.  A few of the camp spots can accommodate larger RV's however, Campbase recommends RV's no larger than 40 feet. Most camp spots are 30 foot or shorter. Camp roads are all dirt and most camp spots have large pine shade trees.
