Description

California, Deer Canyon Campground, Crystal Cove State Park. 

Directins:

The campground is not accessible by vehicle.  This is a hike-In campground only.  Located on Pacific Coast Highway, approximately two miles south of Newport Beach,  going southbound, the state park entrance will be on the left side.  Park in the state park and hike approximately 1.5 miles to the campground.

Deer Canyon Campground, Crystal Cove State Park.   This is a tent only, Hike-In campground with 5 tent spots available.  Some shade trees are available.  The campground is located in a rugged area of the park approximately two miles from the Pacific Ocean.  There are no services available at the campground.  There are numerous biking and hiking trails around the campground.  Fire rings are not provided and ground fires are not allowed due to the chaparral brush.  Trash cans and a Vault toilet are available.  The closest you can get to the campground with a car is about two miles.
