Diamond Lake Campground is the largest campground on Diamond Lake with 238 RV and tent camp spots.  All spots are dry camping, no hookups.  The campground has direct lake access and many camp spots are right on the water.  Other spots have a lake view.  There are two boat launch ramps in the campground.  Restrooms with showers are also available.  Most camp spots have large pine shade trees.  RV's up to 35 feet can be accommodated.  A few pull-a-round camp spots are also available for larger rigs.

Diamond Lake is primarily a fishing and kayaking lake.  It's not large enough for most water sports.  There is also a 10 MPH speed limit.

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hatinsect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.

Local Recreation:

Bike loop trail.  There is a spectacular bike trail that runs from the campground and travels completely around the lake.  In some spots the path does change to surface streets.  The path has great views of the lake and surrounding snow capped mountains.

Photography is popular in this area.  In addition to Diamond Lake there are two snow capped mountains nearby.  See the Campbase PHOTOS tab for a few of our pictures.

Fishing is available on Diamond Lake.  There are some great spots to throw in a line.  The campground also has two boat launches and a small launch dock.  There is also a small marina approximately one mile north of the campground.

Kayaking.  It's the perfect lake for kayaking.  Launching is easy and the lake is sheltered so waves don't usually get to big.  There is also a 10MPH speed limit on the lake.
