Diamond Lake RV Park is a seasional Campground being open from mid May through October.  RV and tent camp spots are available.  The park is located within walking distance from Diamond Lake.  The park does not have direct lake access, it's just across the highway.  It's also the only RV park near the lake with full hookups and pull through spots.  The park has restrooms, showers, and a laundry room.  Cable TV and WiFi was not available.  There were some fire rings in section "W" but, the RV area didn't seem to have any.  There is a boat launch ramp available on the southern end of Diamond Lake near the park.  There is also a pizza restaurant located near the entrance to the park.  The lakes marina with boat slips is located on the northeast end of the lake.  There is a swim beach near the campground.

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hatinsect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.

Local Recreation:

Bike loop trail.  There is a spectacular bike trail that runs from the campground and travels completely around the lake.  In some spots the path does change to surface streets.  The path has great views of the lake and surrounding snow capped mountains.

Photography is popular in this area.  In addition to Diamond Lake there are two snow capped mountains nearby.  See the Campbase PHOTOS tab for a few of our pictures.

Fishing is available on Diamond Lake.  There are some great spots to throw in a line.  The lake also has a boat launch and small launch dock.

Kayaking.  It's the perfect lake for kayaking.  Launching is easy and the lake is sheltered so waves don't usually get to big.  There is also a 10MPH speed limit on the lake.
