Directions:

Located off of Hwy 74 in the San Jacinto Mountains just 4 miles southeast of Mountain Center.  Look for the campground on the left side of the highway.

Hurkey Creek Park Campground is located just across the highway from Lake Hemmett.  Restrooms and drinking water are available.  Campground roads are all paved and most camp spots have large shade trees.  There is a small market at Hemmett Lake.  The park has good cell service for some carriers.
