Lake Elsinore Marina and RV Resort is a large resort with RV and tent camp spots available.  The resort is open all year.  Extended stay spots are available.  It's one of the nicer resorts on the lake with hundreds of camp spots and a large launch ramp.  A small camp store has all the essentials that are necessary for camping including ice.  Clean restrooms with showers and a laundry are available.  The park also has a dump station for RV's that are dry camping in the resort.  Many spots have shade trees but, not all.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.  The park has excellent facilities for boaters.  With trailer parking and a large launch ramp.  Nearby the resort are easily accessible services, restaurants, markets, and fuel.

Lake Elsinore is Southern California's largest natural, fresh water lake.  Higher than normal temperatures and the California drought are having a negative affect on the lakes health.  Lake algie toxin levels may be elevated in late summer and early fall.  The city recommends not to have body contact in the lake while algie levels are elevated.  If you do come in contact with the water it's important to rinse off with fresh water as soon as possible.  Pets should also remain clear of the water.  Fish die-off may also occur under certain conditions.

Local Recreation:

Lake activities are popular from this campground.   Boating, fishing, and kayaking are available to campers.  If you prefer swimming, the park has a large pool.

Road touring is popular on Ortega Highway.  The access to Orteng Highway is just a short distance from the park.  It's a popular destination for motorcycling.
