Lake Park RV Resort is open all year with park models, hotel rooms, cabins, and RV camp spots.  Your RV must be newer than model year 2000 or it will not be allowed in the park.  RV spots are a short distance from the lake and beach. Most camp spots do not have shade.  A boat launch is not available at the resort but, is available nearby in the city park.  Camp roads are paved and parking pads ar crushed rock.  Full hookups are available.  This is an in-town Campground so markets, fuel and restaurants are available nearby.  There is a Jack-In-the-Box near the entrance to the resort.  Extended stay is available.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.  Pets are allowed.  Extended stay spots are available.

Lake Elsinore is Southern California's largest natural, fresh water lake.  Higher than normal temperatures and the California drought are having a negative affect on the lakes health.  Lake algie toxin levels may be elevated in late summer and early fall.  The city recommends not to have body contact in the lake while algie levels are elevated.  If you do come in contact with the water it's important to rinse off with fresh water as soon as possible.  Pets should also remain clear of the water.  Fish die-off may also occur under certain conditions.

Local Recreation:

Lake activities are popular from this campground.   Boating, fishing, and kayaking are available to campers.  If you prefer swimming, the park has a large pool.

Road touring is popular on Ortega Highway.  The access to Orteng Highway is just a short distance from the park.  It's a popular destination for motorcycling.
