Roadrunner RV Park is open all year with tent and RV camp spots.  The park has restrooms with showers and a laundry.  Camp spots are level with a fire ring and picnic table.  Most spots do not have shade.  Park roads are all paved.  There is a boat launch however, it may be closed due to low water levels.  This is an in-town campground with fuel, markets and restaurants located near the campground.

Lake Elsinore is Southern California's largest natural, fresh water lake.  Higher than normal temperatures and the California drought are having a negative affect on the lakes health.  Lake algie toxin levels may be elevated in late summer and early fall.  The city recommends not to have body contact in the lake while algie levels are elevated.  If you do come in contact with the water it's important to rinse off with fresh water as soon as possible.  Pets should also remain clear of the water.  Fish die-off may also occur under certain conditions.

Local Recreation:

Lake activities are popular from this campground.   Boating, fishing, and kayaking are available to campers.  If you prefer swimming, the park has a large pool.

Road touring is popular on Ortega Highway.  The access to Orteng Highway is just a short distance from the park.  It's a popular destination for motorcycling.
