Lake Skinner Campground has 199 full hookup sites, 18 water and electric sites, and 40 water only camp spots.  RV and tent spots are available. There is an A, B, and C loop.  Group camp sites are also available.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.  Campbase recommends fishing boats up to 20 feet due to a small lake size. The park is primarily a fishermans park with launch ramps and a small marina. The lake is stocked with fish. There is no water contact allowed and water sports are not allowed.  The park has a large market with ice and firewood available.  A fuel station and propane are located at the market.  There are two launch ramps but, most boaters use the launch ramp at the marina.  The marina has docks and also remts small fishing boats.  There is a laundry and restrooms with showers.  Full hookups, fire rings, and picnic tables are available at many camp spots.  All campground roads are paved while parking pads are crushed rock.  The park has boat and RV storage available.  A California state fishing license is required in order to fish in the lake.  Click this link for a Lake Skinner video.

Park activities:

The primary activity in the park is fishing.  There is also an equestrian area for horsebacking.  The park has a splash pad, playground, and climbing wall for the kids.  There are large grassy areas for day use that are quite nice.

Activities outside the park:

The area near the park is popular for wineries, wine tasting, and wine festivals.  There are also other lakes in the area including Lake Parris, Diamond Valley Lake, and Vail Lake.  A short distance from the campground you will find Pachanga Casino.  Its a large casino and very popular in the area.

Camp fires are not allowed.
