California, Pine Glen Group Campground  To reach Pine Glen Campground you must drive through New Shady Rest Campground.

Directions:

Nearing Mammouth lakes Northbound on Highway-395, take Highway-203(Substation Road).  Go left at the bottom of the off ramp and go under Highway-395.  Travel Westbound for approximately 3 miles and take a right onto Sawmill Cutoff Road.  Take another quick right onto Banner Road and into the New Shady Rest Campground.  Follow the road through the campground to Pine Glen Group Campground.

Pine Glen Group Campground is located at 7,900 feet.  Pine Glen is a group campground located within walking distance of the full-service community of Mammoth Lakes, California. Popular for large families and other groups of up to 15 to 30 people.  The park also has a limited number of single camp spots available.  A bear-proof locker is located at each site. All food and scented items must be stored in the lockers. All trash must be disposed of in the bear proof trash receptacles. Do not store food, trash or scented items in your vehicle.  Some group sites can accommodate up to 30 people.  This spot does have cell service depending on your carrier.  Cell service was limited but available.
