Pumpkin Patch RV Resort is a big rig RV park, no tenting.  The campground is seasonal with 75 camp spots being open from May to mid October.  This is a very large RV park and can accommodate the larger RVs and tow vehicles.  The campground can accommodate bigger rigs than most campgrounds near Bangor.  Camp roads and pads are crushed rock.  Some camp spots have shade trees.  50amp is available.  The campground has restrooms, showers, and two small Landry rooms.   The grounds are nicely landscaped and all camp spots are very large.  This campground primarily caters to adults.  There are no playgrounds or pools.  The campground is nestled in the Maine country side with a golf course just a few blocks away.  There is also a nice restaurant at the campground entrance within walking distance from the RV's.   The resort also has quite a busy activity schedule with ice cream socials and game night to name a few.

Local Recreation:

The Hermon Meadow Golf Club is just a few blocks from the campground and is a great place to play a round of golf.

The Cole Transportation Museum is just a short few miles away and has all kinds of classic heavy vehicles.

Old Downtown Bangor is a great spot for breakfast or a walk around the shops.

Bar Harbor is approximately 40 miles from the resort but, it's a great way to spend the day walking through shops and eating at restaurants.

Acadia National Park is just 40 miles to the southeast of the campground.  Road touring is popular in Acadia.  There is also an extensive network of carriage trails used for biking and hiking.  Photography is popular with all the nature views in the park.  Please click here for our Acadia National Park page.
