Comment

Fry Creek Campground is located in a pine forest at 4,900 feet.  It sometimes receives snow during the winter months.  The campground is open April through November.  Only 12 camp spots are available.  These camp spots are small so, RV's are not recommended.  Tent camping is best.  In addition, highway S6 leading to the campground is steep and winding, not recommended for larger RV's.

Local Recreation:

Walking and hiking trails.

The Mount Palomar Observatory is approximately one mile from the campground.  Tours are available at the observatory.  Night sky's are excellent for star gazing.

Mothers Kitchen restaurant is approximately one mile from the campground.
