Horsfall Beach Campground  is open all year with 34 RV or tent camp spots.  Big rigs to 57 feet can be accommodated.  Most spots average just 50 feet.  The campground has beach and sand dune access.  The main activities from this campground are Beach combining and off-roading.  Only a limited number of spots have a picnic table and fire ring, most do not.  One restroom with showers is available.  There are no services near the campground.  Most services are located four miles away in the small town of North Bend.

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hatinsect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.

Local Recreation:

Off-roading in the Oregon Sand Dunes is by far the most popular activity from this location.  The dunes are spectacular with lakes and pine forests mixed in woodlands.  The dunes extend for 40 miles in this location.

Horsebacking is popular from Horsfall Sand Dunes.  The area to the south of the parks entrance road(Horsfall Road) is restricted to Horsebacking only, no off-roading.

The national recreation area has a long sand beach with beach access.  Horsfall Beach Campground is in the best location for accessing the beach.  Great spot for beachcombers.
