Description

New Mexico, Lions Beach Campground, Elephant Butte Lake State Park is located 4 miles off Interstate-25. 

Directions:

Southbound on Interstate-25, approaching the small town that of Elephant Butte, take the Highway-195 exit and go Southeast for approximately 4 miles and the parks entrance will be on the left side.

Note: In addition to the route detailed above, there are several additional access roads into the park.

Lions Beach Campground, Elephant Butte State Park is a very nice campground with full hookups available.  Most spots are very large.  Campbase estimates that big rigs to 45 feet can be accommodated.  The campground has paved campground roads with crushed rock parking pads.  Shaded spots are limited but, most spots have a shade awning.  A restroom with showers is available. Each spot has a picnic table and fire ring.
