Comment

Lone Pine Mobile Oasis is primarily an extended stay mobile park however, the do have approximately 10 daily RV camp spots.  Reservations are not accepted.  All camp sites are first-come, first-served.  Most spots are shaded.  Restrooms and crushed rock parking pads are available. Its a good general location for touring the local area.  Prices are reasonable with full hookups.  Cable TV is not provided however, cell service is good for most carriers.  Across the highway at the Boulder Creek RV Resort you will find a small camp store with all the essentials.  Ice and firewood can be found there.  The park does not have fire rings. There are also loads of local activities.

Local Activities:

Diaz Lake is located just one mile north of the park.  The lake has a small launch ramp and fishing available.  Mostly a fishing lake.

Alabama Hills Recreation area is located near this park.

Mount Whitney is located approximately 15 miles from the park.  Mount Whitney is the tallest mountain in the continental United States.

Alabama Hills Cafe and Bakery.  Campbase had breakfast at the cafe and we recommend it.  Great breakfast and large portions.  Its located in downtown Lone Pine near the corner of Highway-395 and Whitney Portal Road.

Lone Pine Smokehouse.  We saved this one for our next visit but, it looks good.

The Pizza Factory is located in downtown Lone Pine.
