Tuttle Creek Campground is located in a wilderness area without services nearby.  The campground has 83 RV or tent camp spots.  Camp roads and parking pads are all dirt.  Picnic tables and fire rings are available.  This is a desert area and there are no shaded spots.  The campground is located along Tuttle Creek.  RV's up to 45 feet can be accommodated however, many sites are larger.  The closest services to the campground are in Lone Pine where you will find fuel, markets, and restaurants.  This is BLM camping in designated sites only.  The campground is primitive.

Local Activities:

Photography in this area is amazing.  See the Campbase pictures tab for just a few examples.

Diaz Lake is located just one mile north of the park.  The lake has a small launch ramp and fishing available.  Mostly a fishing lake.

Alabama Hills Recreation area is located near this park.

Mount Whitney is located approximately 15 miles from the park.  Mount Whitney is the tallest mountain in the continental United States.

Alabama Hills Cafe and Bakery.  Campbase had breakfast at the cafe and we recommend it.  Great breakfast and large portions.  Its located in downtown Lone Pine near the corner of Highway-395 and Whitney Portal Road.

Lone Pine Smokehouse.  We saved this one for our next visit but, it looks good.

The Pizza Factory is located in downtown Lone Pine.
