Directions:

From highway 78 and Split Mountain Road in the small town of Ocotillo Wells, proceed South on Split Mountain Road for approximately half a mile.  The campground entrance will be on the left side.

Mobiland RV Parkis is open all year with tent and RV camp spots.  Big rig camp spots are available.  The campground has about 90 camp spots.  Most spots are extended stay however, approximately 20 spots are available for day to day rentals.  The day to day spots do not have sewer connections.  Only electric and water connections are available.  Most camp spots have a small shade tree.  A fire ring and picnic table are also provided.  Most cellular carriers have service in this area.  The high season for the campground is between October and April.  Extreme summer tempratures tend to drive campers out of the area.  The primary activity in the area of the campground is off-roading in the Ocotillo Wells State Vehicle Recreation Area.  Only small campground markets are available in the area near Ocotillo Wells, there are no large markets.  Fuel is available in Salten City or Borrego Springs.  Borrego Springs is most likely the closest at 25 miles.  Fuel up before you enter this area.  There are only a few dump stations in the area.  There is one at the Blu In Park Campground(6miles) that charges $35 to dump.  A second dump station can be found at the Borrego Palm Canyon Campground near the information center in Borrego Springs.  They charge $8 to dump.  RV water is available at both locations.
