Big Trees Campground  Named for the very large Jeffery pines that grace the site, Big Trees Campground is located along the banks of Bishop Creek and affords nice camping and fishing opportunities.  Some sites in shade and some in open sunlight. Bear proof food storage boxes are procided in this active bear area.  Just 16 RV or tent camp spots are available.  Campbase estimates that RV's up to approximately 35 feet can be accommodated in most sites.  This is a seasional campground and is only open from July through August.  All camp spots are first-come, first-served.  Reservations are not available.  The maximum stay allowed in the campground is just 7 days.  The campground was already closed for the season during the Campbase visit in October.
