Bitterbrush Campground is open year round although there is no water or trash service during the winter months. This is primarily a winter campground as it is frequently below the snow line or just has minor amounts of snow. 30 Single RV or tent campsites. Vault toilets and drinking water are available in the campground.  Camp roads and parking pads are all dirt or crushed rock.  Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and bear box.  This is an active bear area.  A few sites have shade trees.  The campground may have a host depending on availability.  Bishop Creek runs through the campground with some sites having direct access.  Most sites can accommodate RV's up to 40 feet.  Road access from Bishop for large vehicles is also acceptable baring poor weather or snow.  In general, large Rv's are fine.
